Karol Farský

He began his aviation career in 1940 with elementary pilot training in the powered-flight squadron of the Slovak Aviation Corps (SLeS) in Bratislava. After completing it, he joined the Slovak army. He continued his flying training at the Aviation School, completing basic training and the non-commissioned officer course. In September 1941, the Aviation School moved from Piešťany to Trenčianske Biskupice because of capacity constraints. In November 1940 his family officially changed its surname from Farkaš to Farský.
