Pfeffermann military hangar (1926)
The hangar was built by Ing. Josef Záruba-Pfeffermann and partners. The contemporary volume Z vývoje české technické tvorby (1940) lists it among the company’s projects and reproduces a photograph on page 327.[1]
The 1924 state budget includes “Vajnory, hangar and petrol store, 1 million Kč”. This is a budget proposal, not proof that the hangar was completed in 1924. Its precise completion date has not yet been documented.
This hangar belonged to the military part of the airfield. It is distinct from the civil ČSA hangar built in 1925 to a Ministry of Public Works design by the Prague firm Ing. Max Duchoslav.

As German troops withdrew from Bratislava in early April 1945, the hangar was mined and destroyed. Bratislava was liberated on 4 April 1945.
